Elizabeth Ann Fedele

It is with great sadness our family must announce the passing of our Loving mother Elizabeth A. Reilly Fedele of Chambersburg, Pa. Elizabeth departed this world; "for heaven, and was welcomed into the Kingdom of God" on Friday, December 9, 2022. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 King James Version (KJV) Elizabeth, also known as Lizzy or Liz, was 83 and born in the Bronx, New York on Aug. 19, 1939. Raised on Long Island in St. James, New York. In 1959 Liz met her soon to be husband at a roller skating rink on a blind date. Elizabeth then married her sweetheart John Fedele on Valentines day, February 14, 1960. They were married just shy of 60 years before dad passed suddenly on Dec. 16, 2019. Once Liz and John were settled in Chambersburg, Pa. Liz became an active member at Grand Point Church for the last 20+ years, participating in various Bible studies, prayer meetings and while also volunteering for House of Grace and later on at Menno Haven. All of this showing that our mother had a burning love for Jesus Christ and service as she humbly served at her church and within her community. We, the family, are strengthened in knowing that mother is residing in heaven with her husband, John, her son, Gerard and her precious granddaughter, Kathleen. Elizabeth finished her race well and went from Glory to Glory to be ever present with her Lord and Savior Jesus. In addition to Bible study groups and volunteer work, Liz also enjoyed traveling, and visiting with her family in NY and Arizona. Mother loved walking, reading her Bible, spending time with her grandchildren and each of her children. Elizabeth Ann Fedele is survived by her children: Elizabeth A. Saraceno, John A. Fedele, Jennifer L. Rockwell and husband Jay Rockwell. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Clifford and Joel Kearns, Alisha Fedele, Jon Rockwell with his Fiancee Elizabeth Lamnalos. Seven great grandchildren: Jarrod, Ashley and Isabella Kearns, Jai'daimoire Baez, Kayla Marie Baez, Braxton Fedele and Yianni Rockwell and a great great granddaughter, Kamilaa Baez. A sister, Kathleen Fennell and her two sons: Terrance, and wife Yvonne Fennell, Timmy and wife, June Fennell. Also a brother, Charles Reilly of Manhattan in New York plus numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation and services will be on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Grand Point Church with Rev. Lawrence Metzler and Pastor Scott Despres both officiating. Visitation is from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The funeral service will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Grand Point Church, 2230 Grand Point Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202 Now the two have become one again. Elizabeth and John will both be buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held for them both at a later date.
