George enjoyed his hunting and fishing adventures in his younger years, with always a story to tell. After retiring from Letterkenny he busied himself in becoming an avid gardener who sought to have his crops and field to be picture perfect as well as bountiful. If the sun was up that meant there was plenty of work that could be done! George, his wife and son enjoyed time spent at their home away from home at Raystown Lake whenever the chance arose. George found ways to keep himself busy thru the years, from raising chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, steers to wood working and eventually when the outside became too much he found farming on the internet thru Facebook games. There he found pride and joy in his master piece farm! He was a man of few emotions but knew hardship and hard work but he loved his family deeply and in his own way.
