Mr. Gerard Cosimo Fedele

Mr. Gerard Cosimo Fedele, 55 of Shippensburg, died on Sunday morning, April 24, at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Karen Spears Fedele who preceded him in death in February, 2017. Born February 8, 1967, in Smithtown, New York, he was a son of Elizabeth Ann Rielly Fedele of Chambersburg, and the late John Andrew Fedele. A mason by trade, he most recently worked at Schreiber Foods, Shippensburg. He worshiped at New Day Fellowship, Shippensburg. Gerard was an avid fisherman whose life in recent years was centered around his grandson. Surviving, besides his mother, is his daughter Alisha Fedele and companion Shawn Snyder, both of Shippensburg; and step-children Christopher and Matthew Foschia; grandchildren Braxton Snyder and Milinia Foschia; and siblings John Fedele, Elizabeth Saraceno, and Jennifer Rockwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The William F. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, is assisting the family with arrangements. The family will receive friends at Shippensburg Firefighters Activity Center, 33 West Orange Street, Shippensburg, on Thursday evening, May 5, beginning at 6:00 PM.
