Jacob F Miller Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacob F. Miller Sr., 95, passed away at Shook Home on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born July 24, 1922 in Franklin County, the son of the late Clarence Jacob and Nellie (Middlekauff) Miller. He was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church of The Falling Spring and a 1940 graduate of Chambersburg High School. He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years at Foremost Industries retiring in 2001. He enjoyed yardwork, watching Orioles baseball and square dancing with Shippen Squares. Surviving is his wife, whom he married on February 22, 1943, Norabelle (West) Miller; four sons, Jacob F. Miller Jr. (Carolyn), Gary L. Miller (Mary), W. Jonathan Miller (Cynthia), Timothy N. Miller (Louanne); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan (Jon) A. Miller; five brothers, Clinton M. Miller, Paul E. Miller, John P. Miller, Wilmer L. Miller, Orville R. Miller; three sisters, Thelma L. Watson, Alice K. Faust and Gladys J. Rock. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM, August 29, 2017 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Hart officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
