Mr. Jeffrey R Sprow

June 18, 1965 - January 4, 2022

Jeffrey Sprow, 56, of Chambersburg passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was born on June 18, 1965 in Waynesboro, PA, the son of Ray and Bonnie Sprow. A 1983 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, he served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1987 from which he was honorably discharged. He worked construction for the majority of his life with his most recent position being a concrete technician for triad engineering. Jeff loved his family, his boys and his grandchildren. He also had a love of football, and baseball. As well as playing in his younger years, coaching his own boys and the boys in the family, he enjoyed coaching the Scotland Broncos football for 10 years and Hamilton Heights baseball. He led both teams to the championships. He has helped mold every athlete who he coached into the men they are today. Jeff LOVED his Dallas Cowboys, never missing watching a game and harassing the Eagles fan's. He liked to fish and hunt and to be outside doing anything. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons: Aaron Sprow, Andrew Sprow; sisters: Jennifer (wife of Troy) Blair and Susie Shenck.; grandson Connor Eugene Sprow, granddaughter Rylee Ann Sprow and his companion, Paula Woodal. He was preceded in death by: His brother Gregory Alan Sprow. A funeral service will be held 1:30p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at William F. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in ParkLawns Memorial Gardens.
