John P. Randolph Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John P. Randolph, age 81, of Chambersburg, PA passed away on May 26, 2022 at the Menno Haven Memory Care unit of Chambersburg. Born November 23, 1940, in Emmitsburg, MD, John was the son of the late John C. Randolph and M. Helen (Lingg) Randolph. His two sisters, Martha Austin and Diane Randolph reside in Emmitsburg, MD. At a young age, John attended Mount Saint Mary's for two years before joining the U. S. Army. Following his military service, John began a lifelong career in finance, eventually retiring from Beneficial Finance Company in 1995. Following said retirement, John's love of golf led him to part-time work at the Penn National Golf Course where he enjoyed working outdoors and with others who enjoyed the sport. John was a member of the Chambersburg Country Club from 1975 until he resigned in 2018. John celebrated 50 years of marriage on Valentine's Day, 2022, with his wife, Goldie F. (Coldsmith) Randolph. Other surviving family members include J. Scott Randolph (Rachel) of Greencastle, PA and Crystal Ellgass (Rudy) of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren Joshua, Laney, Roman, Taylor and Mezdyn, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and Richard H. Randolph, his uncle. A private memorial service will be held at a future date as determined by the wishes of the family. Memorial contributions, in John's honor, may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
