Matthew F. McClure

Matthew F. McClure, 66, of Chambersburg,PA, passed away at home on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born September 21, 1954 in Chambersburg, the son of James C. Jr. and Betty (Brookens) McClure of Fayetteville. Mr. McClure worked as crane operator/block and bracer for the government at Letterkenny ArmyDepot and at Franklin Feed Hardware in Chambersburg, PA. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1973 to 1975. Surviving are his son, Shawn L. McClure and daughter, Michelle R. McClure, both of Chambersburg; two grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Forrester of Chambersburg and a brother, David McClure, of Chambersburg. Mr. McClure loved to hunt, fish, and enjoyed the great outdoors. He lived life to the fullest. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Parklawns Memorial Garden.
