Ray Sprow, 83, passed away March 25, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1938 in Fayetteville, the son of the late Isabel (West) and John Sprow. A member of Park Ave. United Methodist Church and a 1957 graduate of Chambersburg Area Sr. High School, Ray went on to serve his country in the US Air Force and then worked for 36 years at Mack Truck as a machinist. Ray is survived by his wife, Bonnie (McCleary) Sprow; daughters; Susan Shenck and Jennifer (Mrs. Troy) Blair; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two sisters: Vickie Howe and Kathy Frazer. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey and Gregory Sprow; sister, Peg McNew and a brother, Tom Sprow. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Sellers Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Murr officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, March 29, 2022 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. and at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning before the service.
