Reginald Whittingham, 76, of Chambersburg passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013. He was born on, April 13, 1937 in London, England, the son of the late Phillip and Phyllis (Holden) Whittingham. Reginald was very eclectic, as well as being an artist and making canoes, kayaks, sailboats and model ships; he enjoyed classical music and was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed sailing, fishing, hiking and camping. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Whittingham; two daughters: Lorna (Mrs. Linden) Deibert, Susan (Mrs. Symm) Reese; three sons: Adam Whittingham, Andrew (husband of Maryellen) Whittingham, Peter Manuszewski; five grandchildren: Karl Deibert, Tad and Millie Reese, Matthew and Katie Whittingham and a brother, Roy Whittingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Whittingham. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Helen Pinder officiating. The visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. before the service on Saturday.
