Roy B Stoutamyer

Roy B. Stoutamyer, Jr. 85, of Chambersburg passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born May 8, 1930 in Staunton, Virginia, the son of the late Roy B. and Clara (Hartman) Stoutamyer, Sr. Roy was a long time member of King St. United Brethren Church and a graduate of Chambersburg High School. He worked at T. B. Woods Co. for many years, was a member of the Automotive Racing Club of Hagerstown, York Racing Club and The Chambersburg Motor Knights. He is survived by two sons: Rick A. (Denise) Stoutamyer and Roy B. Stoutamyer lll; two grandchildren, Victoria Vagnozzi; Brent Stoutamyer; three great granddaughters: Annabelle, Kaitlyn and Julie; a sister, Glenna Michael. In addition to his wife, Doris E. (Faust) Stoutamyer, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Stoutamyer. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Stine officiating.
