Mr. David Lee Stull

David Lee Stull, a loving father, devoted grandfather, and esteemed Vietnam Veteran Specialist 4, passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 69. He leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Born in Frederick, MD, on April 5, 1954, David was raised by the late Paul and Catherine Stull. David's commitment to his country led him to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he earned the rank of Specialist 4. His bravery and selflessness in the face of adversity earned him the respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers. After his military service, David settled in Chambersburg, PA with his wife of 41 years Audrey Stull, where they built a loving home for their family. He was a beloved father to four children and step-father to two, who will forever cherish the guidance, love, and support he provided throughout their lives. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he reveled in the joy of being called "pap-pap." David's love and pride for his grandchildren were immeasurable, and cheered them on with unwavering enthusiasm. In addition to his dedication to family, David had a few passions that brought him immense happiness. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, faithfully following their victories and enduring their defeats. David's enthusiasm for the game was contagious, and he shared his love of baseball with his loved ones, creating cherished memories during countless games watched together. Another passion that brought him immense joy was smoking and grilling food. His skills were honed through a lot of practice and experimentation, and his creations were presented at every Saturday Night family dinner. David Stull will be fondly remembered as a devoted family man, a proud veteran, and a strong-willed individual who touched the lives of those closest to him. His unwavering love, and infectious spirit will forever be cherished by his children, grandchildren, and those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his children, April Kesselring (48) and spouse Brian Kesselring, David (Bud) Stull Jr. (39), Brian Stull (36), Daryl Stull (34) and spouse Alexis Stull (33), and two Step-Children Danielle Ferguson (48) and spouse Gene Ferguson (64), and Richard (Rick) Walter (47) and spouse Ashley Walter (38). He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Ashley Kesselring (31), Hannah Walter (21), Gavyn Walter (19), Isaac Stull (16), Elizabeth Stull (14), and Leena Stull (3) who will miss his presence dearly. Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that David's memory will live on through the stories we share and the love he bestowed upon us.
